In April 1968, some members of the Torreblanca mountain group and two local young men rappelled down a small sinkhole known as Pozu’l Ramu which was located very close to the original entrance. In the course of their visit, they discovered two of the most important artwork ensembles: the Chamber of Vulvas and the Main Panel.

The discovery received great coverage in local, national, and international media because of the quantity and quality of the artwork discovered, that compared to that of other European sites.

Just a few days after making the discovery, one of the adventurers, Celestino Fernández Bustillo, died in a mountain accident. The cave formerly known as Pozu´l Ramu was renamed Tito Bustillo.
