Types of visits

Cave Art Centre

Individual:

  • Individual: Highly accessible for the individual visitor who will interact with the various exhibition elements. The visitor will be given a booklet to aid the exhibition itinerary. This booklet is available in several languages.
  • Guided tour: Lasting 45 minutes approximately. Timetables:

- From 1st February to 30th June and from 15th September to 31st December (low season): Wednesdays to Fridays, at 17:00 h. Weekends and Bank Holidays, at 13:00 h. and at 17:00 h.

 - From 1st July to 14th September (high season): Every day, at 12:00, 13:00, 16:30 and 18:00 h.

  • Guided tour + workshop: It includes visit to the Cave Art Centre and participation in a thematic workshop.

 

Groups

Various types of visits are offered at the Cave Art Centre. Advance booking is required in all cases (For information and booking, call +34 902 306 600/985 185 860).

  • Individual: aided by a booklet given out with the admission ticket.
  • Guided tour:  lasting 45 minutes approximately.
  • Guided tour + workshop: It includes visit to the Cave Art Centre and participation in a thematic workshop. 

 

To the Tito Bustillo Cave (from 12nd April to 2nd November 2014)

General conditions of the visit:

  • Limited to 15 people maximum per visit. Advanced booking is required.
  • The visit lasts for 60 minutes approximately.
  • Guided tours are offered in Spanish only.
  • Admission tickets will be collected at the reception desk of the Cave Art Centre, 30 minutes in advance of the booked visit.
  • Minimum age required to access the cave is 7 years old.
  • People with a visual or motion disabilities are not advised to visit the cave.
  • It is recommended to wear warm clothes and suitable shoes.

To the Cave of Ardines

The Cave of Ardines can be visited free of charge on presentation of the admission ticket to the Cave Art Centre.

The visit to the Cave of Ardines lasts for 45 minutes on average. This visit is available on the opening days of the Cave Art Centre (except for days 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd April, 8th September and 8th December on which the Centre opens and the Cave of Ardines remains closed). More information, at the reception desk of the Cave Art Centre. 

The number of visitors is limited to 20 per visit. Visiting the Cave of Ardines requires visitors to climb up and down 300 steps.
